"Do you hate me? I know I would." She hated everything about the situation. She hated herself for coveting another woman's husband. And she hated that she didn't hate Mei Lin. "Is there anything you need?" She asked instead. Because that's what the housekeeper does.

She should have said no or at least not yet but the only word that would come out of her mouth-The only word that could come out of her mouth was yes. Set in early season 5. Jean muses on everything that has happened.

When a baby is found all alone in a house Matthew and the police try to find her family and Alice finds a reason to look for hers.

Another Adelaide story where Ruby is the daughter in law I think Jean deserves.

I'm sure you can see where this is going. I'm on a re-watch of the show and watched this episode last night.

This is one of those stories that work their way into your head like a bothersome advert. It is a dark imagining, at first, of Alice Harvey's youth and crosses over into Miss Fisher territory, in fact it's almost a half and half. I shall be posting it on that stream.
