With Stewart Whitman's ing earlier this year, I felt moved to create closure for the characters of this extraordinary TV Western. I chose to write between and after the events of the episode Whitey. This episode had explored the spaces between Dulcey and Crown thoroughly. Crown was forced to choose what mattered most in his life and viewers found out that it was not his badge.
