Cherry is given word from her long-lost grandmother that she must go back in time to the year 1940 with her friends in Nazi to see her old friend Eglantine Price with her very young mother and the Rawlins siblings as someone has gone back in time to change history. Cherry must go back in order to save her family's history or else risk being non existent.

The last thing Carrie Rawlins and her two brothers expected was stumbling upon an enchanting woman with an enchanted plan. Even at war, everyone in Pepperinge Eye is living their own normal lives and Eglantine Price is no exception. Often enchanting, often terrifying, often heartwarming and often hilarious, she and the Rawlins children never up a chance of sharing misadventures of their own, even if their normal is not what most expect it to be.

After lonely and miserable months since the war began,festivities of Mother's Day 1941 is finally making its way towards the village of Pepperinge Eye leaving everyone excited, except for the lonely Miss Price and the orphaned Rawlins children. Will it be too late for them to realize that the loving mother-child relationship they never knew they had could heal their broken hearts?

War is raging on not-too-distant shores, but all is calm in Pepperinge Eye. Eglantine and the children miss Emelius who is in the Army, but they don't know where.
