What if the war between the vampires and the mutants had gone differently?

This is a rewrite of an X-Universe short I wrote years ago when I was getting into the games (More Specifically; X3: Terran Conflict). It's a brief story from the perspective of an individual Xenon drone.

WARP: Humanity's Next Step is a game idea that I dreamed up (literally) and then wrote down and expanded on. (I am more than open to additional abilities or possible weapons, attachments, and grenades)

A short story set in the X-Universe. Specifically, make that my X-Universe. Many of the characters work for my enterprises and there are facilities depicted that result from my actions in the game, though other facilities are part of every game. There are some references to "me", that is the player, but the player character does not appear in the story at all.

The lost Argons, distant descendants of old Earth, try to come to with their Terran brothers...who think that having stayed on Earth makes them the authorities even though they have descended just as much. Patrick Henry, an Argon patriot, is recruited as a spy. His insertion into Terran space leads to adventure, wealth, and unexpected maturity.

Only one gateway separates the Argon Federation from their target. O'ren Rock, notorious pirate lord and traitor to the Commonwealth. Caught selling military hardware to the Terrans. But not all is as it seems and O'ren Rock has quite a few tricks left up her sleeve.

A boy gets kidnapped from his home and taken to a planet to fight off some "termites"
